Learners and staff feel more engaged resulting in increased attainment. For example at Shrewsbury College 80% of teachers who received coaching from staff attending programmes we ran increased their lesson observation grade.
Other benefits include reduced absenteeism, increased retention of staff and learners, increased capability, capacity, resilience and ability to find solutions.
In a 2012 survey we conducted on coaching’s impact in the sector, published in the respected “Coaching at Work” journal, 87% thought coaching had considerably more impact than other change interventions
