Feedback takes place when you give and/or receive positive and/or negative information which enables the receiver to evaluate their behaviour and performance. It is usually a private, confidential conversation between two people.
When giving feedback, ask: What do I want to say? Have I sufficiently built the relationship to say it? What action would I like as a result of this conversation? Most importantly when giving feedback: be genuine, show respect and be sensitive!
